How can I find out the actual selling price of a home?

A house sold in my area tha tis very similar to mine. I know the asking price but I'd like to find out the selling price. Anyone know how? Is there a website??

If the house has just sold, then you can generally get the information from a real estate agent but be prepared to be constantly annoyed. A better way is to check with the land transfer office of your provincial government.
